Fuoco Pulito pellets — reviews, producer (Gairelita, LT003) and parameters

Fuoco Pulito is Italian for "clean fire", but the pellets of that name don't come from Italy. They are made by UAB Gairelita of Radviliškis, Lithuania, holder of ENplus certificate LT003 — the Italian name is a trace of the market the brand was built for. Below: parameters from three sources, a pallet-weight discrepancy worth knowing about before you buy, and an honest word on "reviews".

The producer

Gairelita's website describes Fuoco Pulito as pellets meeting "the highest ENplus A1 quality standard" and gives the parameters:

• calorific value 5.0 kWh/kg;
• ash 0.4%;
• moisture 5%;
• diameter 6 mm;
• packaging: 15 kg bags, 70 bags per pallet = 1050 kg, the pallet wrapped in a protective cover which — according to the producer — allows outdoor storage for up to 6 months.

A Polish seller (535pellet) adds that the raw material is "selected, light-coloured softwood sawdust (mainly spruce), rigorously debarked". The Pellet Pod Dom shop, whose prices we monitor, writes of "clean softwood sawdust".

Three sources, three different ash figures: 0.4%, ≤ 0.7% and 0.2%. There's no contradiction — the producer gives a typical value, one shop copies the standard's thresholds, the other reports one specific test. Just know that "≤ 0.3%" in a shop description is the seller's promise, not a certificate parameter; the certificate guarantees ≤ 0.70%.

Pallet: 975 or 1050 kg?

This is the most practical point in the article. The producer packs 70 bags = 1050 kg. Both Polish shops we reached sell a pallet of 65 bags = 975 kg. Someone repacks along the way, or the distributor orders a different variant — we don't know. What matters to you is one thing: before you compare the price, check how many bags are on the pallet in that specific offer. The 975 vs 1050 kg difference is about 150 zł/t at the same price.

Price

In our table Fuoco Pulito appears with the Pellet Pod Dom offer (975 kg). At the time of writing the last recorded price was 2,300 zł per pallet, i.e. 2,359 zł/t, with the status "out of stock" — check the table for the current state, as the poller refreshes it several times a day. For comparison, 535pellet priced the pallet at 2,499 zł (2,563 zł/t), and the producer's Lithuanian site lists €500 for a 1050 kg pallet — a price for the Lithuanian market, without transport to Poland, so not useful for comparison.

"Fuoco Pulito reviews" — what we can and cannot say

We don't collect user reviews and we don't test fuel in a boiler — we say so plainly rather than pretend to knowledge we lack. What we can say is what's verifiable:

• certificate: LT003 in the ENplus register — check validity (how);
• parameters: the producer's declarations are clearly better than the standard's thresholds, especially ash;
• raw material: spruce, debarked — i.e. softwood, with natural resin as the binder;
• inspection on delivery: fines at the bottom of the bag and pellet length reveal how the pallet was handled in transport — checklist.

Read forum and shop reviews with one question in mind: did the author give the certificate number and where they bought? Without that you don't know they're writing about the same bag.
