"Tartak Obrzycko price list" is one of the more common queries that land on this site — and until recently we had no good answer, because the distributor showed the price as "—". Today the answer is simple: the pellets from Obrzycko are called Ecopellet, they are made by Zakład Przemysłu Drzewnego ROMA (Tartak Roma) of Gołańcz, they carry ENplus A1 certificate no. PL 054, and the producer sells them in its own online shop for 2,250 zł per 975 kg pallet, delivered, which is 2,308 zł/t. We track that offer automatically from today.

Who makes the pellets in Obrzycko

"Tartak Obrzycko" is not a separate company but a branch of Tartak Roma at ul. Szamotulska 6 in Obrzycko (Greater Poland). Tartak Roma itself — full name Zakład Przemysłu Drzewnego ROMA Sp. z o.o., registered at ul. Klasztorna 23, Gołańcz — descends from a sawmill founded in 1918, today describes itself as "a leading producer of garden architecture in Poland and Europe" (fences, pergolas, decking), saws about 200,000 m³ of pine timber a year "exclusively from certified sources", and runs four production plants.

Pellets are new in that portfolio: according to the company page, the expansion "from July 2022 to further locations – in Obrzycko and Margonin" brought into the offer "top-quality wood pellets, as confirmed by the EN Plus A1® PL054 certificate we hold". The logic is the same as at Stelmet: a garden-architecture plant sits on a mountain of pine sawdust, so it makes pellets out of it.

What the certificate says — and one thing to check

The producer's shop publishes the certificate document itself (PDF, file "Certificate_ENplus_ZPD-ROMA_PL_054"). It shows:

  • certification body: Control Union Certifications Germany GmbH, Berlin;
  • ENplus ID PL 054, operational address ul. Szamotulska 6, 64-520 Obrzycko;
  • scope: production of ENplus A1 pellets, 6 mm plus "bagging and trade of bagged pellets (from its own production)"; the holder is a producer, not a trader — what the number means, we explain here;
  • certificate number CU-890255-01, version of 22 July 2024 adjusted to the new ENplus standards;
  • validity: from 22 July 2024 to 25 June 2026.

That last date has passed. It does not mean the certificate has lapsed — ENplus renews certificates after an annual audit and the shop may simply not have swapped the file — but it does mean that the document you download from the page today no longer attests anything on its own. Before buying a pallet, ask the seller for the current certificate or check number PL 054 in the ENplus register. That is exactly the kind of detail a "certified pellets" description will never show you.

Ecopellet parameters

The product page in the producer's shop gives values from a test, not from the standard — rare, and worth noting:

ParameterProducer's shop (romasklep.pl)ENplus A1 limit
Diameter6.0 mm6 or 8 mm
Length19.1 mm3.15–40 mm
Ash content0.42% (d)≤ 0.7%
Calorific value4.99 kWh/kg = 17.98 MJ/kg (ar)≥ 4.6 kWh/kg
Total moisture6.3% (ar)≤ 10%

Raw material: the product page says only "from sawdust"; the company site says "wood pellets 100% softwood (pine)"; the distributor Opałownia says "clean and dry softwood sawdust". In our table we therefore leave the wood type as "not stated", because we go by what the product page says, but three sources consistently point to pine.

Price list: pallet, 35 bags, 20 bags

As of 12 September 2026, gross prices from romasklep.pl, all "FREE DELIVERY":

PackMassPricezł/t
pallet, 65 bags975 kg2,250 zł2,308
35 bags525 kg1,560 zł2,971
20 bags300 kg934 zł3,113

The shop states the conversion itself: "2,307.70 zł gross / 1 tonne", "34.62 zł gross per bag" — matching ours (2,250 ÷ 975 × 1000). The lesson of the table matters more than the numbers: half a pallet costs 29% more per tonne, and 20 bags 35% more. If you have somewhere to store it, smaller lots make no sense — on storage.

The distributor Opałownia (opalownia.pl) still shows the price as "—" and takes orders by phone; transport cost is "agreed individually after the order is placed". On Allegro, EAN 5903714407903 circulates (the same one in the producer shop's data) — we do not track Allegro prices.

The current price and availability of the producer's offer are in the pellet price per tonne table from today (brand "Ecopellet"); you can also set an alert for a threshold below today's 2,308 zł/t. On the day of writing it is one of the cheaper A1 pallets with a Polish ENplus number in our table.
